Shennanton House

Just back from a week with 45 others celebrating a joint 250th Birthday party. Three 50th's, a 60th and a 40th.
We stayed at Shennanton house near Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway.
Situated in over 30 acres of gardens and woodlands, Shennanton House is surrounded by the original 3,000 acre estate.
It is a Grade "A" listed building designed by the Glasgow architect H.E. Clifford in 1908, and is a house of national importance and unusual architectural interest which was graded 5 crown deluxe by the Scottish Tourist Board.
The house is divided into four residences plus the gatehouse which I couldn't get in the photos.
Go and stay. You won't be disappointed Just Google Shennanton House.
